About Tokyo Concours d'Elegance 2011

Dear Concours followers

Thank you for your continued support. I apologize that I haven’t provided any news recently. I hope I make it for it with the news that follows.

1.
The Tokyo Concours d’Elegance will not be held later in 2011 after all due to the challenge of raising funds following severe budget cuts by many luxury automotive companies, luxury brands and financial organisations.
Instead plans are underway for an event in Spring 2012.

2.
ELITE Corporation is assisting the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance source cars for the February 2012 event. Rare and special cars will be invited to attend from Japan. This is a unique experience and a chance to make some lifelong classic car collector friends from around the globe. Should you wish to enter your car please get in touch.

3.
The organizer of Louis Vuitton’s rally in Spring 2012 from Monaco to Venice has asked if anyone from Japan would like to participate. If you wish to attend or at least receive event information please get in touch with ELITE Corporation and we will ask Louis Vuitton to send you information.

4.
Paul Goldsmith has been requested by RM Auctions to source high-quality cars from Japanese owners interested to sell their classic cars at the Arizona RM Auctions in January 2012. Any classic car with a proven history will be considered. All sales will be handled with the utmost discretion.

5.
Since April 2011 Paul Goldsmith has been appointed by Zagat in Milan and Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera to be their representative in Japan. Paul's role is to identify and work with individuals who wish to own a highly limited edition, bespoke, hand-made bodied automobile that is not only a fabulous possession, but something of value that will appreciate over the years. Should you wish to learn more about how to order a hand-made Zagato or Touring Superleggera vehicle please get in touch. Automobiles currently offered by Zagato are the last of only 9 Bentley GTZ and one of the only 9 fabulous Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale. Touring Superleggera is offering its elegant Bentley Flying Star, based on the Bentley Continental GTC and its Maserati Bellagio a shooting brake version of the Quattroporte.

6.
Paul Goldsmith is also now the agent for Ruote Borrani http://www.borrani.eu/ , the iconic hand-made wire wheels fitted on most classic cars from Italy and the UK of the 1950s and 1960s, and earlier. As agent I will be appointing a sole dealer for the classic wheels in the near future so that these wheels will be easily available in Japan. Ruote Borrani has an archive of all the technical drawings for every wheel ever made, so no matter how unique or unusual your automobile Borrani can recreate its wheels.
